El volcanismo del pleistoceno superior en Gran Canaria

Abstract

Dating of beach/shallow marine volcanic phasis during the Upper Pleistocene from Gran Canaria: stratigraphy, pedoclimatology and thermoluminescent age evaluation. Beach/shallow marine volcanic phasis, contemporaneous of an humid tropical pedogenesis and a guinean fauna with Strombus bubonius, has been dated by means of the quarz inclusion method et 95.000 years, during the Uper Pleistocene.
