Abstract

Se pretende anticipar de qué manera los diccionarios experimentarán en los próximos años una transformación de la mano de los avances tecnológicos en informática, tanto en lo formal como en lo sustancial. Las dos vías principales a las que las nuevas tecnologías prestarían las transformaciones más relevantes a los diccionarios son en el aspecto físico y en la flexibilidad de consulta. Ambos factores implican un cambio del modelo de interacción entre los usuarios y los diccionarios; el diálogo se verá enormemente facilitado por la utilización de interfaces amigables cuidadosamente desarrolladas; el uso se verá revalorizado por el mayor alcance de los resultados obtenidos al aprovechar las capacidades multimedia de los sistemas empleados.
