Abstract

Introducción: la investigación es una competencia transversal que deben adquirir los profesionales acogidos en Programas de Formación Sanitaria Especializada. El objetivo es evaluar la percepción de conocimientos antes y después de una intervención formativa en relación a las competencias investigativas en Pediatría. Método: estudio cuasi-experimental a selección no probabilística usando la Escala de Evaluación de Competencias Investigativas. Análisis descriptivo y contraste de hipótesis para diferencias de medias de datos relacionados. Nivel confianza 95%. Conclusiones: una intervención formativa y focalizada mejora la percepción sobre competencias investigativas en los profesionales incluidos en el Programa de Formación Sanitaria Especializada de Pediatría.

Background: Research is a cross-sectional competence in Health Sciences that must acquire professionals enrolled in Specialized Health Training Programs. The Aim is to evaluate the perception of knowledge before and after a training intervention about investigative competences in Pediatrics. Methods: quasi-experimental study through, non-probabilistic professionals selection. It has been used the Investigative Competences Assessment Scale. Descriptive analysis. Hypothesis contrast for the mean difference with related data. Confidence level 95%. Conclusions: a specific and focused training intervention improves the perception of knowledge about the investigative competences of professionals included in the Specialized Health Training Program in Pediatrics.
