La adolescencia es un periodo vital caracterizado por las dificultades en las relaciones interpersonales. La familia no es ajeno a ello, y habitualmente surgen conflictos relacionales entre los miembros del sistema familiar. La terapia familiar pretende intervenir desde un enfoque psicoterapéutico para restablecer dinámicas funcionales de interacción entre los diversos integrantes del sistema. Conocer y entender la adolescencia, los diferentes estilos de interacción familiar y la eficacia de la terapia familiar, nos ayudará a poder entender la utilidad de la misma.
Adolescence is a period of life characterised by difficulties in interpersonal relationships. The family is not out of this, and relational conflicts usually arise between the members of the family system. Family therapy aims to help from a psychotherapeutic approach to re-establish functional dynamics of interaction between the various members of the system. Knowing and understanding adolescence, family interaction styles and the effectiveness of family therapy will help us understand its usefulness.
