Los personajes no binarios en el mundo audiovisual: mecanismos de traducción al español.

Abstract

Hoy en día la concepción de género ha roto los esquemas hasta ahora establecidos, ya que se escapa al tradicional sistema binario. Encontramos cada vez más personajes genderqueer en todo tipo de medios y esto ha abierto el debate sobre el lenguaje inclusivo y su relación con el colectivo LGBTIQ+. Este hecho afecta a la labor de los traductores, que se enfrentan al desafío de traducir estas identidades de género sin una norma oficial, lo que ha dado lugar a la creación de diferentes mecanismos en español. Este trabajo recoge algunos de ellos, los ilustra con ejemplos extraídos de traducciones oficiales y analiza sus ventajas e inconvenientes.
