The fashion-cinema conjunction has currently started to be studied in academia, although only few researchers have focused their efforts on fashion documentaries, despite their abundance on streaming platforms (Barrientos-Bueno, 2013). In Spain, the majority of the fashion audiovisual products are imported, due to the relevance of the sector in other cultures, hence the importance of their translation. We have carried out a market analysis of fashion documentaries and their translation in Spain, based on a multilingual corpus made up of those streaming products available in 2020. The aim of this analysis was to establish the most common language combination, the translation modes used and the main theme.
