Abstract

El empleo de fármacos promotores de la hemostasia se considera de gran importancia adyuvante en el manejo del sangrado. En el momento de la publicación de este capítulo, la aprotinina, un fármaco básicamente antifibrinolítico, se consideraba un paso importante en el control del sangrado. La controversia en relación con su empleo llevó, posteriormente, a su retirada del mercado tras una serie de publicaciones que ponían en duda su relación riesgo/beneficio
