La movilidad estudiantil universitaria en España

Abstract

El programa Erasmus ha cumplido 25 años y es el proyecto europeo que mayor impacto ha tenido en la movilidad universitaria. Al mismo tiempo, el proceso de Bolonia ha enfatizado la importancia de la dimensión social, es decir de la equidad en el acceso a la Universidad. En este texto se presentan las características de los estudiantes que participan en el programa Erasmus en España (tanto Incoming como Outgoing) desde la perspectiva de la dimensión social. Se sostiene que el programa, dada la insuficiencia de las becas y ayudas, tiene un carácter elitista, porque se halla determinado por el capital educativo y económico de los progenitores y por el capital educativo y cultural de los estudiantes.
