Abstract

The objective of this work is to point out the close relationship between health data and genetic data, focusing on the microbiota, due to its present and future importance in various areas of health, research, and the pharmaceutical sector, among others. The study of the microbiota presents intriguing questions, some of which will be discussed in this work, in anticipation of future research.
