En el artículo se presentan los datos obtenidos tras el estudio de un muestreo de los restos óseos del Magdaleniense superior (Nivel XI) de la Cova de les Cendres (Teulada-Moraira, Alicante), en el que se ha empleado una metodología más objetiva y numérica. La composición taxonómica es habitual en este periodo, con un predominio absoluto del conejo, seguido del grupo de los ungulados (ciervo, cabra, caballo, jabalí), y la baja presencia de una especie de carnívoro, lince.
