Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es la construcción de un sistema de alarma que advierta cuándo un dispositivo con agua ha alcanzado el nivel deseado y otro que permita detectar la entrada a una vivienda. Para ello se realizarán diferentes montajes electrónicos basados en el uso de transistores. Un transistor es un componente electrónico que se emplea para amplificar señales eléctricas; es decir, se utiliza para obtener corrientes de salida de mayor intensidad que las corrientes de entrada. Un transistor tiene tres electrodos: el emisor, el colector y la base. Cuando está conectado correctamente, el transistor no deja pasar la corriente entre el colector y el emisor, pero permite que pase entre la base y el colector o entre la base y el emisor. En un transistor se cumple que pequeñas variaciones de intensidad de base provocan grandes variaciones en la intensidad del colector, por lo que es posible controlar grandes potencias de un circuito colector consumiendo una pequeña potencia en el circuito base.
