Economia de la identitat

Abstract

Acceptem que 1’economia com a ciència social és efectivament una plaga invasora que tracta de conquistar les distintes esferes del coneixement, el sentit i el sentiment, i s'atreveix amb la cultura (Towse, 2005), l'estètica (Mosseto, 2001), l'amor o la por (Boulding, 1973), o la felicitat (Frey, Stutzer, 2002). Així ens evitem malbaratar uns primer paràgrafs per a justificar, davant d'alguns recels, no sols la pertinència de l'aproximació sinó el seu, refrescant i sense prejudicis, punt de vista. Aquest assaig s'aproxima a una nova subdisciplina que irromp amb èxit, de la mà, és clar, de brillants i joves americans com Steven D. Levitt i Stephen J. Dubner, \a.freakonomics o «l'economia del que és rar». Aquests autors apunten que «la moral representa la manera com a les persones els agradaria que funcionarà el món.
