Felipe V y el Hospital Real y General de Valencia

Abstract

A diferencia de las hondas reformas de Felipe V en el Reino de Valencia contrasta 1a conservación del Hospital General de la Ciudad, de su situación y privilegios. Se estudia a través de algunas reales cédulas del monarca. Dos de ellas se transcriben, ambas fechadas en 13 de agosto de 1709. La segunda supone una amplia y completa confirmación de leyes y privilegios anteriores, desde 1510 a 1695.

The king Philip the V introduced a great reform about the laws and institutions of the Kingdom of Valencia. Howevet he dit not change the structure and organisation of hi,; General Hospital. He confirmed by several orders, that are transcribed, the old organisa - tion of this Hospital, belonging to the XVI ;:ind xvrr cen turies.
