Multinational corporations are covered by areas of impunity, despite its violation of basic human rights. This article will develop some legal instruments that pretend to regulate the relationship between corporations and human rights. Moreover, it will analyse the national obligation to prosecute international crimes, also when its perpetrators are enterprises. It will be connected to the principle of universal jurisdiction and its potential effects if it is reintegrated to the Spanish legal framework
