Abstract

The book contains a set of articles that analyze indigenous natural and urban spaces in Hispanic cinema. As scenarios of fiction catch the attention of the public that, eager to visit them, makes them successful destinations driven by the tourism industry. Through the study of specific films, the authors also deal with other aspects to show how Hispanic cinema echoes the social transformations derived from the enormous impulse experienced by tourist flows since the second half of the twentieth century.
