Phelipanche lainzii, nueva orobancácea para la Península Ibérica

Abstract

[ES] Se describe una nueva especie ibérica perteneciente al género Phelipanche Pomel (Orobanchaceae): Ph. lainzii, sp. nov., hallada en el noreste de la provincia de Albacete, cerca de la provincia de Valencia (E de España). Entre otras características, presenta por lo general tallo mediano a pequeño, inflorescencia densa, corola azul pálido de tubo estrecho, apenas infundibuliforme y no muy ensanchado en la garganta, con lóbulos del labio inferior no deflexos y cáliz con dientes subulados. Su morfología es parecida a Ph. mutelii (F.W. Schultz) Pomel, Ph. camphorosmae Carlón, G. Gómez, M. Laínz, Moreno Mor., Ó. Sánchez & Schneew. y Ph. nana (F.W. de Noë ex Rchb. fil.) Soják, por lo que se aporta una tabla en la que se muestran diferencias entre ellas y una clave para la identificación de las cuatro especies. También se incluye iconografía, fotos y un mapa de su localización. Parásita que sepamos exclusiva de Cleonia lusitanica (Loefl. ex L.) L. (Labiatae). Se conoce una única población estimada en menos de 250 individuos en un área de ocupación inferior a 200 m2, lo que según la UICN la sitúa en Peligro Crítico -alto riesgo de extinción en estado silvestre-, por lo que urge tomar medidas para su conservación.
