Abstract

Se realiza una revisión sobre las indicaciones actuales del enclavado endomedular para las frac - turas diafisarias del fémur y la tibia. Se estudian las fracturas cerradas, las fracturas abiertas y las fracturas asociadas a politraumatismo. Se actualiza cuál es el punto de entrada más idóneo para el enclavado anterógrado de fémur y tibia.

A review is made about current indications of endomedullar nailing in treating diaphyseal fractu - res of femur and tibia. Closed fractures, open fractures and fractures associated with polytraumatism are studied. An update is made about ideal entry point for anterograde nailing of femur and tibia
