Abstract

We report 185 cases of distal radius fractures treated by closed reduction and percutaneous Kirschner wire fixation. Final functional results were good or excellent in 156 of the 185 cases (84,3%). In view of the results, we think that the method is simple, useful and cheap, and must value its use in the majority of the distal radius fractures.
