Fracturas del radio distal tipo B3. Tratamiento quirúrgico.
A total of 67 cases of B3 type fracture of the distal radius treated in our Department are presented. A volar plate was used as fixation method in 30 cases, Kirschner wire in 19 cases, external fixator in 17 cases, and external fixator plus Kirschner wire in 1 case. The best results were obtained in the group of cases treated with a volar plate (90 percent of sa- tisfactory results).
Se presentan 67 casos de fractura de radio distal tipo B3 tratadas en nuestro Servicio. Se utilizó como método de osteosíntesis una placa palmar en 30 casos, agujas de Kirschner en 19 casos, fijadores externos en 17 y fijador externo + agujas en 1 caso. Los mejores resultados se obtuvieron en el grupo de casos tratados con placa palmar (90 % de resultados satisfactorios).
