La Hispanidad en la pantalla del NO-DO

Abstract

El genérico más célebre y duradero del noticiario español NO-DO arranca con un avejentado mapa mundi sobre el cual se perfila un águila que sobrevuela el orbe entero. Emblemática de una época considerada gloriosa en la que la España de Franco anhelaba reflejarse, representaba al mismo tiempo la unificación de España por la expulsión de los árabes y el comienzo del sueño imperial con el Descubrimiento de América,el noticiario oficial del franquismo dio cabida a los países de América Latina bajo formas lingüísticas y en claves genéricas muy distintas. El presente texto realiza un recorrido por estos tratamientos que significan cómo los españoles tuvieron acceso a las imágenes documentales cinematográficas de todo un orbe y cómo fueron conducidos a una lectura particular de las mismas.
