La localización de sujetos adictos en un estudio de seguimiento

Abstract

El problema de la localización y posterior entrevista de los sujetos seguidos en estu¬dios de carácter longitudinal parece agrandarse cuando se trata de pacientes adictos, siendo frecuente la asociación entre dificultades de localización y evolución terapéuti¬ca más pobre.Los resultados de nuestro estudio, centrado en una muestra de 210 pacientes adictos localizados después de un año y medio del inicio del tratamiento, indican que no siem¬pre las dificultades de localización se asocian a peores resultados; los pacientes que presentan más dificultades para entrevistar no difieren de manera significativa de aque¬llos que resulta más fácil localizar y entrevistar. Así pues, parece que las submuestras de sujetos ilocalizables no llegan a Influir de manera significativa a la hora extrapolar y generalizar los resultados a la muestra total.
