Los partidos políticos y el sistema de partidos en España

Abstract

This chapter addresses the party system in Spain since the beginning of contemporary democracy in the late 1970s. It analyses the role of political parties as a fundamental instrument of political participation and describes the evolution of the dynamics of the party system from its origins to the present. The main Spanish political parties are studied, distinguishing between the right-wing bloc, the left-wing bloc, and the so-called non-state parties. // Este capítulo aborda el sistema de partidos en España desde el inicio de la democracia contemporánea a finales de la década de 1970. Se analiza el papel de los partidos políticos como instrumento fundamental de participación política. Se describe la evolución de la dinámica del sistema de partidos desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad. Se estudian los principales partidos políticos españoles, distinguiendo entre el bloque de derechas, el bloque de izquierdas y los denominados partidos no estatales.
