Antagonismos cronotópicos en la cultura audiovisual

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo explicar el concepto teórico de «antagonismo cronotópico» (Belmonte, 2015) y lo conectará con el análisis de diferentes textos audiovisuales del S. XXI. Los productos culturales tratados aquí incluirán géneros y formatos diversos que exploran de distintas maneras la relación transtemporal entre pasado, presente y futuro. El concepto de «antagonismo cronotópico», el cual planteé para un análisis audiovisual concreto (Belmonte, 2015) y aquí propongo aplicar más diversificadamente, incluye en su formulación compuesta la referencia a los conceptos teóricos previos de «antagonismo» y de «cronotopo». Así, por un lado, el término sustantivo «antagonismo» alude tanto al carácter conflictivo de toda realidad humana o social, desde una filosofía política (Laclau y Mouffe, 1987; Laclau, 2012; Mouffe, 2007) y desde diversas teorías del sujeto y sus conflictos, como también a la función antagonista de todo elemento de un relato que confronte a su protagonista (planteando un conflicto), desde una semiótica narrativa (Casetti y Di Chio, 1991; 1999). Por otro lado, el término calificativo «cronotópico» tiene una clara filiación desde la teoría de la literatura, aludiendo al concepto de «cronotopo» que planteó Bajtín (1989) para su teoría y estética de la novela, una plasmación en el texto de tiempo-y-espacio como coordenadas inseparables de la narración.
