Abstract

La cebada es un cereal de invierno perteneciente a la familia de las gramíneas que se cultiva preferentemente en los secanos de Aragón, del resto de España y en todas las zonas áridas de los países mediterráneos, si bien también se cultiva en regadío cubriendo huecos en las alternativas. La variabilidad de suelos y climatología, aconsejan cuantificar en cada caso la cantidad de agua (lluvia y/o riego) estrictamente necesaria en cada período vegetativo para obtener el máximo beneficio. Para su determinación, durante las campañas 95/96 y 96/07 se realizó un experimento en parcelas de agricultores colaboradores de Bujaraloz con los siguientes objetivos: 1. Obtener la respuesta de producción de la cebada, sometida a estrés hídrico en los períodos vegetativos de crecimiento, reproducción y maduración. 2. Conocer las cantidades mínimas de agua de la cebada en cada período vegetativo, para obtener el máximo beneficio.
