Jurel (Trachurus picturatus) del Archipiélago Canario

Abstract

Revisión del estado del conocimiento acerca de Trachurus picturatus. Se aportan resultados sobre la biología de la especie, parámetros poblacionales, y la evolución de sus capturas en la isla de Tenerife (2001-2008). Se hace especial mención a la necesidad de revisar la talla mínima de captura autorizada (15 cm), que es notablemente inferior a la talla de primera madurez (superior a los 20 cm).
