Las autolesiones no suicidas en adolescentes sin enfermedad mental y la actuación enfermera

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como fin profundizar en la conducta autolesiva no suicida de adolescentes sin enfermedad mental. Se ha utilizado el formato de tipo revisión bibliográfica narrativa, enunciándose un objetivo general y una serie de objetivos específicos a los que se les dará respuesta. En la metodología empleada se han seleccionado palabras claves y descriptores, consultado recursos bibliográficos concretos (Pubmed, CINAHL y Web Of Science entre otros) y definido unos criterios de inclusión y exclusión para mejorar la respuesta a los objetivos planteados. En los resultados se tratan estos objetivos los cuales se centran en analizar los factores de riesgo psicosociales que influyen en las autolesiones no suicidas, ya que estos factores modificables permitirán reducir su incidencia. También se plantean las intervenciones para prevenir y/o abordar estos comportamientos con las posibles psicoterapias a utilizar para reducir aquellas emociones negativas exteriorizadas por mecanismos inapropiados o aumentar las habilidades de afrontación de adolescente. Y se termina resaltando la relevancia de la enfermera quien debe estar capacitada para prestar una atención integral al adolescente que incluye entre otras la detección precoz, el tratamiento y educación no solo al paciente, sino a su entorno. Se concluye con la necesidad de aumentar la formación y recibir apoyo institucional para mejorar la atención que se da a los adolescentes con conductas autolesivas.
