Prototipos

Abstract

Según la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS), cada año surgen 500.000 nuevos casos de ceguera infantil, un nuevo caso por minuto. (RevistaPerfiles, ONCE, 21-01 -2005). La Carta de Salamanca (1994), elaborada por 88 países y 25 ONGs, postula: "el derecho a la educación para todos, independientemente de las diferencias particulares". ¿Por qué la metodología cognitiva del prototipo en la educación de invidentes? Nos parece útil esta metodología para estudiar el modo y la capacidad de categorización que tiene el niño ciego. Creemos que este estudio redundará en beneficio de su aprendizaje y expresión, tanto en la lengua y como para el dibujo.
