En 1580 se alzó en la Capilla Real anexa a la Catedral de Sevilla un túmulo funerario con ocasión de la muerte de la cuarta esposa de Felipe II, Ana de Austria. Se encargó de su composición el licenciado Francisco Pacheco (1535-1599).
