En la BCCS se conserva una colección inédita de cinco composiciones funerarias dedicadas al licenciado Francisco Pacheco (t 1599). El artículo las edita, traduce y comenta; aventura la hipótesis de que tuvieran relación con un retrato y elogio de Pacheco que habría podido formar parte del Libro de Retratos de su sobrino, el pintor Francisco Pacheco.
