El papel de la mujer en el ámbito de la traducción ha sido históricamente olvidado. No obstante, el objetivo de este trabajo es ensalzar la labor que ejercieron estas traductoras. Para ello, vamos a estudiar a Carmen de Burgos (1867-1932), una importante traductora española. Posteriormente, estudiaremos su traducción de La souris japonaise (1921) de la autora francesa Rachilde (1860-1953) y de la cual realizaremos un análisis traductológico.
