Proceso Tatoray, diseño de una línea de fraccionamiento de benceno y xilenos

Abstract

El objetivo principal del presente proyecto es proponer un diseño para la separación de Benceno de una corriente procedente de un proceso de desproporción de Tolueno, donde el tolueno y otros aromáticos más pesados son convertidos en benceno y xilenos, llamado Proceso Tatoray. En la figura adjunta se mostrará un esquema del proceso Tatoray. En el presente proyecto, se realizará el diseño de la columna de separación de Benceno, de la cual se obtiene el benceno, el diseño de la torre de separación de Tolueno, la cual se obtiene tolueno que se recirculará al proceso, y el diseño de los equipos asociados a ambas columnas. Por lo tanto, la realización del proyecto se justifica según las causas expuestas a continuación: • El producto de interés del presente proyecto, benceno, es un compuesto de gran utilidad en la industria química, ya que es predecesora de muchos otros compuestos aromáticos útiles en la industria. • El proceso del cual se obtiene dicho benceno, Tatoray, tiene un alto rendimiento de producción de la misma y de otros compuestos.
