El presente trabajo pretende el estudio de los diferentes elementos propios de la guerra de asedio en el contexto tardorromano (284-420) con base a las fuentes documentales. Al efecto, se procede al análisis de la temática desde una doble vertiente: una visión panorámica de los territorios imperiales en dicho contexto cronológico y una visión más periscópica versada sobre acontecimientos puntuales de este tipo de guerra a modo ejemplificativo.
This works expects the study of the different own elements of the siege war in the late Roman context (284-420) based on the documentary resources. To this effect, it is proceeded to the analysis of the topic from a double aspect: a panoramic vision of the imperial territories in such a chronological context and a more periscopical visión dealt with specific events of this kind of war as examples.
