Diseño de un biorreactor para la producción de polihidroxialcanoatos a partir de ácidos grasos volátiles

Abstract

El objetivo establecido para el presente TFG es: Diseñar y dimensionar un biorreactor para producir polihidroxialcanoatos (PHA) , a partir de la fracción líquida del efluente de un reactor anaerobio acidogénico, ya diseñado, que está destinado a la producción de bio-hidrógeno. Esta fracción líquida del efluente acidogénico presenta elevadas concentraciones de ácidos grasos volátiles, tratándose por tanto de un sustrato ideal para producir PHA. En el TFG se seleccionará la tecnología y tipo de reactor más adecuado y se calculará el volumen necesario de la unidad de acuerdo con la cinética. Se realizará también el dimensionado de las necesidades de agitación, calefacción, almacenamiento necesarias para el adecuado funcionamiento del sistema. Como base de diseño de las unidades, el TFG se propone para una planta a escala de demostración.
