La Transición trajo importantes cambios a una España que había padecido una dictadura durante cuarenta años, ofreciendo a la ciudadanía nuevas libertades. Tras décadas de educación tradicional y represiva, los españoles sintieron un gran interés por las publicaciones eróticas y pornográficas, respondiendo las editoriales con nuevo material acorde a los gustos del momento. Spanish transition to democracy (1975-1981) brought important changes after forty years of dictatorship and offered new liberties to citizens. After decades of conservative and sexual repressive education Spanish citizens felt great interest for erotic and sexual explicit publications and publishers started to produced erotic magazines and comics in order to satisfy the increasing demand. This article deals with erotics in comics – their publications, topics, legal problems and public interest.
