ABSTRACT: In 1993, the line of research of gender and health appears on the framework of the Master of Sciences on Collective Health. The article shows its nowadays state, taking the background that justifies it, the conceptual and methodology approach, the objectives and the problematic nuclei on woman health studied in this lines of research. Likewise, achievements in terms of finished researches, publications, assistanships, agreements with other institutions, and participation in scientific events are described.

RESUMEN: En 1993 como apoyo de la maestría en salud colectiva surge la línea de investigación género y salud, presentamos su estado actual a partir de los antecedentes que la justifican, el enfoque conceptual y metodológico, los objetivos y los núcleos problemáticos de la salud de la mujer abordados por la línea. De igual manera se presentan los logros en términos de investigaciones terminadas, publicaciones, pasantías, convenios con otras entidades y participación en eventos.
