Financiamiento del seguro de salud en Colombia

Abstract

RESUMEN: Colombia presenta un panorama desalentador en cuanto a las perspectivas de la seguridad social. Además, en el caso de salud, existen interrogantes y cuestionamientos sobre la sostenibilidad financiera del sistema. En esta Observación partiendo de tópicos teóricos sobre el seguro de salud, se presenta la operación del régimen contributivo, revisando su equilibrio financiero reciente y las perspectivas futuras según los resultados de varios escenarios.
