Acrodermatitis enteropática

Abstract

ABSTRACT: We show a case of a fifteen-months-old female patient, who since the age of three months presented a history of periorificial desquamation, erosions, diarrhea, alopecia and irritation which were exacerbated after the ten months old, when her mother stopped breast feeding. The results of the clinical, laboratory and histological tests played an important part in the diagnosis of acrodermatitis enteropathica.
