Hyloscirtus Antioquia Rivera-Correa y Faivovich, 2013 Rana Chocolate de Antioquia

Abstract

RESUMEN: Hyloscirtus antioquia Rivera-Correa y Faivovich en 2013, fue descrita con base en especímenes colectados en diferentes localidades del departamento de Antioquia, Colombia (i.e. Municipios de Bello, Belmira, Envigado, Santa Rosa de Osos, Sonsón y Yarumal) entre los 2500 y 3200 m s. n. m. Esta especie fue asignada al grupo Hyloscirtus larinopygion (Duellman y Hillis 1990, Faivovich et al. 2005, Rivera-Correa y Faivovich, 2013) y posteriormente asignada al género Colomascirtus (Duellman et al. 2016), el cual fue nuevamente sinonimizado a Hyloscirtus por Rojas-Runjaic et al. (2018). Aunque aún no ha sido formalmente incluida en análisis filogenéticos, se ha sugerido que H. antioquia está estrechamente relacionada con H. larinopygion (Brunetti et al. 2015).
