Abstract

RESUMEN: La presente investigación tiene como finalidad, profundizar en algunos planteamientos en torno a la relación entre enfermedad mental y educación , al mismo tiempo hacer algunos cuestionamientos y precisiones sobre la educación como uno de los posibles agentes transmisores , preventivos o regula dores de la enfermedad mental en un determinado memento. Si hemos elegido cosas, elemento de estudio la educación institucional (la escuela, el colegio), es por tratarse da uno de los eslabones ideológicos atediante el cual "las clases dominantes preparan en la mentalidad y conducta de los educación, las condiciones fundamentales de su precia existencia" (1) pero ello no niega la posibilidad de que otras - instituciones cumplan idéntico papel, como es el caso de la institución familiar, las guardarías infantiles, hogares juveniles, la iglesia, los hospitales mentales, las cárceles y otros centros de asistencia social.
