RESUMEN: Hablar de investigaciones sociales en general o sobre un sector en particular, como lo es la juventud, remite necesariamente a una serie de conocimientos y experiencias casi misteriosos en algunos casos que, más allá de cuántos cursos de metodología y técnicas de investigación se hayan tomado, se adquieren fundamentalmente con la propia práctica; no obstante, estos conocimientos y experiencias son también susceptibles de sistematización y transmisión de ese saber - hacer específico que un investigador adquiere y desarrolla a través de su práctica.
