RESUMEN: Se relata el proceso de formación y estructuración del Estado Social de Derecho a partir de la crisis del Estado Liberal y cuya consolidación se presenta en la segunda posguerra en la Europa occidental. Finalización con la crisis del denominado Estado de Bienestar, crisis de caracter social y econñomico más no político.
ABSTRACT: It relates the formation and structure process ofthe Social State ofLaw since the crisis ofthe Liberal State of which consolidation took place during the second postwar in occidental Europe. Finally, it shows the crisis ofthe so-called Welfare State, that becomes a social and economical crisis but political.
