Resistencia bacteriana Bacterial resistance to antimicrobial agents

Authors: Fuentes Gónzales, Jesualdo Arturo;

Resistencia bacteriana Bacterial resistance to antimicrobial agents

Abstract

ABSTRACT: An overview on bacterlal resistance to antimicrobial agents is presented. It includes the different genetic mechanisms for its development and the blochemical phenomena that explain it. Some clinical considerations are proposed in order to rationalize the use of these drugs and to avoid or delay the appearance of resistance.
