RESUMEN: Con el tema tratado en este escrito, se pretende presentar un aparte de lo hallado en la Investigación de referencia, realizada en el Consultorio Jurídico “Guillermo Peña Alzate” de la Universidad de Antioquia, durante el período comprendido entre junio de 2010 y abril de 2012. En él se plasma lo encontrado respecto de uno de los elementos que, por obvio, sale siendo ignorado en la intervención del conflicto de familia: la autoestima. Elemento que de por sí, debe despertar un mayor interés, cuando se trata de confrontar a los miembros de la pareja o de la familia en la intervención de su conflictiva. La puesta en práctica del denominado enfoque de mediación transformativo en esta Investigación, condujo a la revisión de múltiples elementos del tratamiento del conflicto en el mencionado contexto, de los cuales, y al menos preliminarmente, se pretende mostrar el ya señalado, cuyo marco podría delinearse en aquello de que, intentar negociar con el otro con la autoestima lastimada, es como jugar a la pelota con ésta desinflada. Se logró visibilizar así, que para alcanzar algún nivel de comprensión del otro y del conflicto que hace relación con ese otro a efectos de posibilitar algún grado de transformación del conflicto mismo y de las partes, se hace necesario, precisamente, sopesar la valía propia y la del otro; en aras de que el interés mostrado para la negociación, termine siendo una franca apuesta soportada en la voluntariedad de todos los involucrados.

ABSTARCT: With the subject treated in this paper, is to present an addition to what was found in the Reference Research conducted in the Legal Clinic “Peña Guillermo Alzate” at the University of Antioquia, during the period between June 2010 and April 2012. It depicts the findings with respect to one of the elements which, obviously, goes largely ignored in family conflict intervention: selfesteem. Element which in itself, should arouse greater interest when it comes to confronting the members of the couple or family in their conflict intervention. The implementation of the so-called transformative mediation approach in this research led to the review of multiple elements of conflict handling in that context, of which, and at least preliminarily, is to show the already mentioned, the framework could be delineated in that which, try to negotiate with the other injured self-esteem is something like playing ball with it deflated. Visible was achieved so that to achieve some understanding of the other and the conflict that makes relation to that other in order to enable some degree of transformation of the conflict itself and the parties, it is necessary to precisely weigh the worth of its own and the other, in order that the interest shown for negotiation, ends up being a frank supported on the voluntary commitment of everyone involved.
