Abstract

ABSTRACT: The increasing urban densification in the Aburrá Valley has caused a number of anthropic phenomena that cause morphological changes and alterations in the natural ecosystems of the watersheds that compose it, being highly affected by human activities, where some alterations are the consequence of, among others , direct drainage of wastewater to natural sources and discharges of non domestic wastewater ARnD with high pollutant loads to public sewage networks, causing serious damage to transport networks such as obstructions, sedimentation and operational problems in urban purification plants. With regard to this issue, there is little knowledge due to the short time of entry into force of regulatory regulations for wastewater discharges (Resolution 0631 of 2015), and the development of the state of the art in terms of control of dumping to public sewerage in Colombia, which is not very extensive. The investigation purpose is to carry out the water quality monitoring inside the public sewage transport networks, specifically in La Doctora collector in Sabaneta municipality in order to determine its spatial behavior, and determine zones or districts according to the residual water characteristic present in the afferent networks.
