The main aim of the thesis is the further development of hydraulic log splitter PLH-100 manufactured by Estre. The main reason for the development is a wish to decrease the net value of the product by decreasing the nomenclature of materials and optimizing processes. Reducing the number of expensive works, for example replacing welded connections with cap screw connections, creates possibilities to leave some works for a client. Reducing the possible mistakes within the working chain, for example excluding mirror-details and creating simpler solutions. While working towards the goal several aspects had to be taken into account: technological and economical requirements of the Estre, requirements for using the machines, and directive and standards from the European Union. The thesis includes market-research of Scandinavian hydraulic log splitters, gives review of different solutions in use and describes the positive and negative aspects of the Estre log splitter. The thesis describes the developmental process of Estre’s machines, including illustrations and explanations. Strength calculations of the basic construction as well as simulation are presented. The part two includes drawings and figures of the built-up of the machines. The part two is for Estre use only. The thesis presents theoretical calculations based on standards, for example about stability of the machines, and also practical results from the tests done with the prototype. The tests are illustrated by photos and explanations. The solutions to the problems occurred during the tests are also proposed.
Käesoleva magistritöö tulemusel valmis puulõhkur PLH-100 edasiarendusprojekt graafiliste joonistega (45, A4 formaadis; 6, A3 formaadis), mis asuvad töö teiseosa köites. Graafiliste joonistele vastavalt valmistati Estre tootmisettevõttes kaks prototüüpi. Töö käigus valminud prototüüpidel on mitmeid positiivseid omadusi, millest olulisimad on välja toodud järgnevalt: 1. Masina projekteerimise käigus, materjale optimeerides viidi eelkasutatud erinevate materjalide kogus 29-lt 9-le 2. Keeviskoostamise tööaeg alandati uute konstruktsioonlahenduste tõttu ligikaudu 10 tuhandelt sekundilt 350 sekundini 3. Koostamise hõlbustamiseks loodi tapplahendusi 4. Projekteerides vähendati peegelpildis detailide hulka. 5.
