Abstract

1 separador y 7 fichas que forman unidad. En el separador se indica la fecha 1253. El conjunto versa sobre las diferentes ediciones y contenido de “Sendebar: libro de los engaños de las mujeres”. Se incluye la transcripción del prólogo de la obra transmitida en el “códice Puñonrostro” y editada por E. Krapf, junto con reflexiones de Menéndez Pidal. Se menciona asimismo la traducción alemana del “Calila e Dimna” (editada Benfrey) y el “Exemplario contra los engaños y peligros del mundo”, traducción del “Directorium vitae humanae” según Menéndez y Pelayo, M. (1905-1910): “Orígenes de la novela”, p. 19. En la página 5, escrita por María Goyri, se mencionan las semejanzas de la obra con otros textos, como el cuento del papagayo que se repite en otras narraciones populares. También se alude a las similitudes con el libro “Barlaam y Josafat” a partir de Menéndez y Pelayo, op. cit. En el conjunto se incluyen otras referencias bibliográficas utilizadas (Gayangos, Laudan, Brunet, Bonilla, etc.)
