Abstract

Objectives: The aim of this article is to present a clinical case in which lowviscosity infiltrative resin is applied for the esthetic treatment of white spot lesions. Methods: A clinical case with enamel hypo-mineralization on the vestibular surface of the right upper central incisor is presented. Low viscosity infiltration resin was applied to improve the optical properties of the tooth and the color mimicry, sensitivity and esthetic result was evaluated at one month and 6 months. Results: Acceptable results were observed with respect to color mimicry with the enamel and the patient did not report postoperative sensitivity or color changes at 6 months. Conclusions: The low-viscosity resin infiltration technique can be considered as a minimally invasive procedure in the treatment or masking of white spots.
