Abstract

In this chapter, based on the conclusions reached years ago in previous studies by the author – “The tax regime of the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta and Melilla: Present and future”, Crónica Tributaria nº 121, pp. 59-96 and The Tax on Production, Services and Imports of Autonomous Cities: Practical Analysis and Reform Proposals, Aranzadi, 2014-, reflects on the future of the tax regime of Autonomous Cities, currently conditioned by the end of the traditional atypical trade that was developed through carriers and the possibilities that open up, after Brexit, to consolidate them as a center for technological and digital companies.
