Abstract

The objective of this research was to compile information on studies developed on urbanism, its relationship with unequal urban fabrics and its impact on social, political, environmental and migratory sustainability. A search was carried out in the Scopus and ScienceDirect databases, and 30 original articles were selected, which were published within the last four years. The results found highlight the relationship between unequal urban fabrics and their impact on social, political, environmental and migratory sustainability, since the greater the population increase, the more negative impacts arise, such as crime, which becomes a large-scale problem in urban planning; In addition, several studies show the negative relationship between the urban fabric and the environmental sectors. Finally, it is concluded that urban planning allows for the development of better cities, in which the needs of the population must be met while at the same time being sustainable, since a balance must be maintained between social, political and environmental aspects.
