Posibilidades de la anestesia general en odontología

Abstract

This work presents the general anesthesia procedure for dental procedures. A clinical case is presented in which comprehensive dental treatment was performed in an adult patient with cerebral palsy. The results, indications and contraindications, as well as the development of the intervention both in its previous phase and in the development of anesthesia, are discussed. The use of General Anesthesia is especially indicated for dental treatment for patients whose medical conditions make regular dental treatment impossible or the solution to their dental problems should not be delayed.
